Calabasas-Area Favorite Pedaler’s Fork Expands to Los Angeles

A restaurant well-known to Calabasas-area diners is taking its signature “little bit of everything” concept to a second location in Los Angeles.

Pedaler’s Fork is expanding with a new outpost planned for Frogtown, located along the Los Angeles River Greenway Trail—one of the city’s most popular cycling routes. The move reflects the brand’s roots in cycling culture while introducing its from-scratch dining experience to a new neighborhood.

Founded in 2013 by Robbie Schaeffer, Gideon Kleinman, and Tim Rettele, Pedaler’s Fork was originally created as a community hub for cyclists, blending a full-service bike shop with coffee, food, and a welcoming social atmosphere. Over time, it evolved into a full restaurant concept, offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner alongside a full bar.

The upcoming Frogtown location will neighbor an existing 10 Speed Coffee café, making it a natural extension of the brand’s bike-forward lifestyle. Guests can expect a New American–inspired menu featuring fresh, approachable dishes, along with a curated selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. Cyclists passing along the trail will also be able to stop in for coffee, pastries, and light bites.

An official opening date has not yet been announced, but the expansion highlights the continued growth of a concept that has resonated strongly with Calabasas-area patrons and beyond.
