MINISO Now Open at The Shoppes at Westlake Village
Back in September, we put MINISO on the local watch list in our Westlake Village openings and closings roundup. The wait is over: the center's store directory now lists MINISO as open, giving Westlake Village a new stop for affordable, design-forward finds right off Russell Ranch Road.

What MINISO Sells
MINISO is a global lifestyle retailer headquartered in Guangzhou, China, built around the idea that small, well-designed things should not cost much. Its shelves carry home goods, stationery, beauty products, toys, plushies, collectibles, tech accessories and snacks, alongside licensed collections featuring Disney, Harry Potter, Sanrio, Peanuts and Toy Story characters. It is the kind of store where you walk in for a phone cable and leave with a blind-box plushie.
Moving Into the Former Tilly's Space
As Conejo Valley Guide first reported in August, the new store takes over the space Tilly's left when the clothing chain exited The Shoppes in summer 2026. The center at 30770 Russell Ranch Road has been refreshing its mix of retail, dining, beauty, wellness and service tenants, and What Now Los Angeles reports menswear brand Rye 51 is also planning a location at The Shoppes.
A Closer Option for Local Shoppers
Until now, the nearest MINISO stores were at The Oaks in Thousand Oaks and Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park. The Westlake Village opening brings the brand much closer for Conejo Valley shoppers and adds to a busy stretch of local retail news, including Erewhon's first Ventura County location, which opened at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks in August.
