Things to do in Calabasas, Malibu and Agoura Hills this November

November is a quieter month around here, with a coffee shop aiming to open on Calabasas Road, a birthday party in Malibu and live music in Agoura Hills. Here is what we found, in date order. The holiday season starts right after Thanksgiving, so we added a look at early December too.

November 1: Last night of Night of the Jack

Calabasas. The glowing jack-o'-lantern trail at King Gillette Ranch wraps up its 2026 run on Sunday, November 1. Tickets and parking are bought in advance, so check nightofthejack.com first.

November 1: Oingo Boingo Former Members at The Canyon

Agoura Hills. Doors open at 6 PM and the show starts at 9 PM at The Canyon Agoura Hills. Guests under 18 need an adult with them.

November 5: Alfred Coffee aims to open on Calabasas Road

Calabasas. Alfred is taking over the old Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf space at 23635 Calabasas Road and is aiming to open on November 5. The company says the first 100 customers get a free drink and Alfred merchandise. The date could shift with permits and inspections, so watch their Instagram.

November 6: Parents Night Out in Agoura Hills

Agoura Hills. Drop the kids off at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center at 6 PM and pick them up between 9 and 9:30 PM. It is a pajama night with pizza, games and crafts. Call the center at 818-597-7361 for details and sign-up. Details here.

November 7: SoCal Cards and Collectibles Show

Agoura Hills. 10 AM to 4 PM at the Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel. A card and collectibles show for fans and collectors.

November 15: Malibu General Store one-year celebration

Malibu. 4 PM to 7 PM at 21249 Pacific Coast Highway. The store marks its first year with a golden-hour toast at 4:45 PM, then an easy come-and-go evening with local makers, vintage finds and live music from Wyatt Lightning. Event page.

November 27: Bulletboys at The Canyon

Agoura Hills. The Sunset Strip hard rock band plays The Canyon Agoura Hills with Ampage and Rusted Stone opening. Doors open at 6 PM and the headliner starts at 9 PM. Guests under 18 need a paying adult with them.

Just outside our five communities

November 12: the PaliBu Chamber November Connections Breakfast, 8 AM to 10 AM at Porta Via in Pacific Palisades. November 20 to 22: the Santa Barbara Antique Show at Earl Warren Showgrounds.

Coming up in early December

December 5 and 6: Holidays in the Village, a free European-style holiday marketplace at The Oaks in Thousand Oaks. Saturday runs 11 AM to 8 PM and Sunday runs noon to 6 PM.
